How do I get my R&D samples to you?
There are several ways to get your R&D sample material to us. Please check with your sales representative for specific instructions on how to properly package and ship your samples. All shipped samples must be packaged properly and contain a completed Sample Submission Form.
Does Convergence Laboratories sell cannabis products?
Convergence Laboratories is an analytical testing laboratory. We do not cultivate, manufacture, produce, process, distribute or sell cannabis or cannabis products.
Which tests are required by the State of California for my product?
The State of California requires that all hemp and cannabis products pass strict testing requirements before being sold to the public. All flower, concentrates, edibles and topicals must pass the following:
- Cannabinoids
- Residual Pesticides
- Microbial Impurities
- Residual Solvents
- Terpenoids
- Heavy Metals
- Mycotoxins
- Moisture Content
- Water Activity
- Foreign Material
Hemp products are required to be tested for potency only and must contain less than .3% combined THC. The above tests are also available for hemp.

Sample minimums are required to complete a test and are too small to accurately represent a batch. Data generated may not correlate with official compliance testing. We recommend that clients submit larger representative sample sizes to reduce variability between R&D Testing and Compliance Data Testing.
How soon will the results be ready?
Depending on the complexity of the tests conducted, you can expect to received your results in 5 to 7 days.

- Valid state issued hemp or cannabis license
- Valid state issued ID
- Completed Sample Submission form
- Full payment unless prior arrangements have been made
